POP
GUITAR
Pop guitar approaches playing with a focus on singer-songwriter rhythm vibes, or Billboard worthy hooks built on chords. These strengths make the versatile pop guitar player always in demand.
ROCK
GUITAR
Rock guitar levels up both your rhythm and lead skills, with as much focus on soloing as you can stand. Collaborative experience is critical for the training of a rock guitarist, as most rock bands have multiple guitarists that must be in tandem with each other.
METAL
GUITAR
Metal guitarists will study and train a multitude of finger patterns to follow the dozens of musical movements a metal set requires, as well as learning how to tune down, in specific keys, and transposing your skill to 7 and 8 string guitars as well as 6.
You are not restricted to one playing style at The Rock & Metal Academy.
While you will choose your genre(s) focus of study, you will be encouraged and provided opportunities by your instructors to grow and experiment so that your playing is your own individual, completely unique blend of your tastes and stylistic choices.
